The Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital Yaounde has delivered a 62 years old woman of a baby girl.
The Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital known as CHRACERH was created in the year 2015 by the First Lady of Cameroon, Mrs Chantal Biya to respond to the plight of women who are seeking for the fruit of the womb. The hospital came to put a stop to the hyper expensive process of Cameroonian women travelling overseas for child birth problems. Since its inception, the health infrastructure is furnished with sophisticated technical platform put in place by Mrs Chantal Biya. This has enabled the hospital to treat complicated cases even that which human beings though it was impossible.
The most recent that is making news in all the nooks and crannies around the world is a 62 years old woman who has just been delivered of a baby girl by the hospital. This is the first ever heard of in Cameroon and in Africa. According to the Director General of the hospital, Prof. Jean Marie Kasai, the 62 years old woman named Susanne M, has arduously wanted to get pregnant for over 40 years now, yet to no avail. She had cried and prayed until she came for consultation at the Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital Yaounde where she was successfully put through the process of In-vitro Fecundation (IVF). Prof Kasai could not hide his joy as he considers the follow up and the safe delivery of woman to be one of the best moments in his life. Ask about the risk involved getting a woman pregnant at that age, Prof Kasai reassured that his positive mind frame, the quality of the equipment and medical expertise at their disposal were enough aspects to permit him bear the medical risk.
The 62 years old mother who was already 15 years into menopause but had just given birth to a baby girl of weight 2kg. 700 could not conceal her joy. She lacked words to express her feelings but as she looked at Prof Kasai, she immensely thanked President Biya and Mrs Chantal Biya, Prof kasia and the CHRACERH medical team for making her a mother at last. The pediatrician, Dr. Jeannette Epee confirms that the baby is perfectly okay and all she needed at press time was breast milk from the mother. Dr. Etienne Belinga, a Gynecologists in CHRACERH, said Suzanne M, pregnancy was an eventful pregnancy with no complications. He said personally, he cannot advice an elderly lady to seek for a baby, but the woman’s situation has proven that when one is determined, and seek Gods face, God will respond.
CHRACERH has been of help to many women who seek children. Age limit, menopause, is not an obstacle to this this Chantal Biya health facility that has rescued many women from barrenness.
