Over 350 people have received free medical consultation and treatment at the Komo Mvokanni medical health center in Obala, Lekie division of the center region. The medical care in its 8th edition has been organized by Mr Njodo Luc, an elite of the area who doubles as the attorney general of the Supreme court and appointed by President Paul Biya to see into the hearth needs of the local population.
More than 350 villagers from Komo Mvokanni and its environs have been screened on some common pathologies like malaria typhoid dental cavity and skin rashes as explained by Doctor MvogoLucie the consultation, screening and treatments were provided free of charge to the purely agrarian population by the benefactor. No critical cases were recorded and minor surgeries carried out. A gesture highly appreciated by the people through their traditional ruler his majesty Atangana François. While pouring traditional libation on the donor, he equally prayed and thank God for giving the people of KomoMvokanni village such an illustrious son in the person of MR Njodo Luc. The head of state of the Republic of Cameroon His Excellency president Paul Biya was highly appreciated for appointing this son of theirs to a position in the Cameroon Government that permits him to take care of the hearth needs of the local population.
As explained by the benefactor Mr Njodo Luc, the move was motivated by the desire to see his people healthy and to promote president Biya’s vision of providing quality health care to Cameroonians in a bid to reduced mortality rate. He further explained that a healthy person is an independent being. This is because when someone is in good health, he can go around his normal economic activities.
While thanking Mr Njodo Luc for his tireless efforts at improving the living conditions of the people, Mayor Simon Pierre Edeba of Obala used the occasion to call on other elites to emulate his good example by carrying out similar gestures in other domains like education and the provision of basic amenities. All these to him, will re-instill confidence of the head of state PR Paul Biya who appointed him in the position.
The villagers from KomoMvokanni and its environs that came to be screened and treated were equally drilled on the need to preserve the unity and peace that the nation Cameroon enjoys .The attorney general told the people to remain very vigilant and report any suspected behavior to the administrative, legal and traditional authorities of the vicinity.
The inhabitants of KomoMvokanni look forward to next year’s edition of the free medical consultations, screening and treatment offered by the attorney general of the supreme court of Cameroon MR Njodo Luc appointed by His Excellency President Paul Biya.
