The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Bidoung Mpkwatt believes that, the turbulence that is going through the Professional Football League of Cameroon today threatens or even annihilates in a considerable way modernization effort and is a serious blow to the image of Cameroon in general and Cameroonian football in particular.

For the issues and challenges facing Cameroon at the moment, namely the perfect organization of the closing ceremony of the activities of the 2018 season that will shortly chair the President of the Republic, Head of State, after his brilliant reelection to the Supreme Judiciary, the organization of the Cameroon Total CAN 2019, the holding of elections to Fecafoot among others that require a peaceful environment to ensure the smooth implementation of all these important projects, he called the parties in conflict tolerance, temperance, respect for the values ​​of fair play in African culture common to all and for which the consideration of Elders and Icons is sacred, before calling the President of the League to gather to find concerted solutions to the current difficulties of the institution.

According to the president of the Cameroon Professional Football League General Pierre Semengue at the end of this meeting, former Secretary General Thérèse Manguele, recently admitted claiming her pension rights, will be appointed Consultant in the League, a new Secretary General will be appointed as soon as possible, the current interim will be appointed Deputy Secretary General.

The meeting was aimed at enabling the League to find concerted solutions to the problems it faces like governance in the League, questions about the number of clubs expected to evolve into Elite One and Two in the upcoming sports season.
